Hello everyone!!!
Today i will tell you how do i use watercolors if you are interested keep reading!
First thing you need to know is that watercolors come in different types of formats, like a pencils, palet or tubes, i used tubes for my ilustration, because it's easier for me to put them on a palette to mix :)
now materials, all you need is water! brushes and paper, (the paper especially for water technique). The watercolors are water soluble so it depend of quality of water you use, you can make a trasparent coat or more vibrand color, this is essential for working with light and shadow!
So first, I place the paper on a flat surface, secure the corners with masking tape, (some papers tend to fold), then, I create a sketch with soft graphite pencil or colored pencils (polychorm), once satisfied, I use a liquid mask, this is used when you want to cover certain parts of the drawing of the painting, you must wait for it to dry completely before painting! to start with you can put a layer of color well diluted to create lights, the watercolors are easier to go from light to shadow, if the paper is wet you can put several color lights, the water will be mixed, you can experience what you want, is part of the fun!, so the illustrations will be with a special aesthetic
Other thing is to for complement my watercolor illustrations even more, i use other types of materials, for example ink markers or pencil, this is to make more definitions in the painting.
Just be creative!!
